Beef and broccoli stir-fry
Ingredients/Components
- beef top round steak, trim fat - 3/4 lb
- broccoli florets - 2 c
- medium carrots, sliced - 2 item
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- dry sherry - 2 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- medium onion, cut in wedges - 1 item
How to make beef and broccoli stir-fry:
Partially freeze beef. Slice thinly across grain into bite-size strips. Cook broccoli and carrots, covered in boiling water, 2 minutes; drain.
