Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- small carrot - 1 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- mango - 1/4 c
- cans Great Northern beans - 3 lb
- sausage patties - 3 item
How to make bean soup:
Fry sausage patties and crumble it up in 4-quart kettle. Add 3 cans of beans to sausage. Cut carrots, onion, celery and mango in small pieces. Add to beans and sausage. Add one can of water. Cook on medium heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with cornbread.Recipe categories: For large groups, Soups & stews, Beans.
