Bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can green beans - 1 item
- cans kidney beans - 2 item
- can English peas - 1 item
- bunch celery, chopped - 1 item
- small jar pimiento - 1 item
- frozen lima beans, cooked and cooled - 1 pkg
How to make bean salad:
Dressing:1 c. vinegar1/2 c. oil2 Tbsp. water1/2 tsp. paprika1 c. sugar Combine dressing ingredients in quart jar and shake thoroughly. Pour over beans, onions, celery and pimientos. Mix well. Leave in refrigerator at least 24 hours. Can be left 2 weeks in closed container.Recipe categories: Salads, Beans, Chickpeas/garbanzos.
