Bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- oil - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- onion, chopped - 3/4 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- green peppers - 1/2 c
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- can garbanzo beans - 1 item
- can wax beans - 1 item
- can Blue Lake green beans - 1 item
- small jar pimento, chopped and drained - 1 item
How to make bean salad:
Mix sugar, vinegar and oil and get hot enough for sugar to dissolve. Cool before using. Drain all of your beans and add celery, onion, green peppers and pimento. Pour your liquid mixture over all your ingredients. Mix well and chill. This is great for picnics and church dinners.
