Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • dash of nutmeg - 1 item
  • can sauerkraut, drained - 1 oz
  • lean pork chops 1/2-inch thick - 4 item
  • medium apple, diced - 1 item

How to make bavarian pork chops:

In 8 x 8-inch baking pan, combine vinegar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, pepper, caraway seed and apple. Top with pork chops. Brush each with Worcestershire sauce. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on High 5 minutes. Rearrange chops; reduce power to 50% and microwave 7 to 15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
