Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- olive oil - 1 c
- walnuts, chopped finely - 1/2 c
- packed fresh basil - 2 c
- peeled cloves garlic, chopped - 3 item
How to make basil pesto:
Mix all the ingredients well. Store in refrigerator.What to do with it? Spoon it on a split baked potato, stir into hot or cold pasta, fill an omelet with it, stir into sauteed zucchini, use it to dress up potato salad, spread it on crackers, breadsticks or toast.
