Basic sweet dough
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- warm water - 1/4 c
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
- scalded milk - 1 c
- butter or shortening - 1/4 c
How to make basic sweet dough:
Mix well and keep dough in warm place covered with cloth. Punch down when doubled.When doubled again shape into rolls or buns and let raise again until double and bake at 350°. Can be used for breads, doughnuts, etc.
