Basic meat loaf


Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- catsup - 1/4 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- lean ground beef
- slice bread, torn in small pieces - 1 item
How to make basic meat loaf:
Mix bread, onion, celery, egg, garlic, salt and pepper. Crumble ground beef into mixture; blend thoroughly. Press into loaf dish (9 x 5-inch). Microwave at High (100%) until internal temperature reaches 150°. If using oven other than Sharp Carousel, rotate meat loaf once or twice during cooking. Spread with catsup. Microwave at Medium (50%) until catsup is heated, 2 to 3 minutes. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Microwave, Ground beef, Meatloaf.
