- basil - 2 tsp

How to make barbecued turkey:
Note: Need two aluminum pans.In small bowl, mix thyme, basil and pepper. Remove neck and giblets. Rinse turkey under cold water and drain. Do not pat dry. With hands, rub thyme mixture over turkey inside and out. Put turkey in glass pan. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Heat grill to 350°. Rub oil over turkey. Put turkey in double aluminum pans. Foil wrap only wings and tip of legs. Place turkey on grill. Cover grill and cook 3 hours. Keep grill temperature at 350°.
