Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- spareribs - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Brown spareribs on all sides. Melt fat in saucepan, add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until flavors are blended. Pour sauce over browned spareribs. Cover tightly and bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until done.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
