Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- mustard - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- spareribs - 4 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Place ribs in roaster and add 2 sliced onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown the 1 chopped onion in oil and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pour sauce over ribs. Cover pan and cook at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover and roast for 20 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
