Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- spareribs - 4 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Cut spareribs in serving pieces. Brown slowly in skillet. Put in baking dish or pan. Pour fat from skillet. Melt butter in skillet. Add onion. Cook until brown. Add next 9 ingredients. Simmer 20 minutes. Set oven to 350°. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake, covered, 1 1/2 hours. Makes 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
