Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- tomato catsup - 1 c
- few drops Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- large onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- ribs - 1 item
- Sauce:1 lemon, chopped fine
- clove garlic, chopped fine optional - 1 item
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Sauce:1 lemon, chopped fine1 large onion, chopped fine1 clove garlic, chopped fine (optional)2 tsp. salt1 tsp. chili powder1 Tbsp. celery seed1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. vinegar1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce1 c. tomato catsup2 c. water few drops Tabasco sauce Cut ribs into serving pieces. Spread out in shallow pans. Set temperature at 450°. After first 15 minutes of roasting, start basting with sauce, turning ribs often.Bake at 450° for 1 1/2 hours, then reduce heat to 375° and continue for another 1 1/2 hours. This will do about 5 pounds of ribs.
