Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 2
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- spareribs - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Wipe spareribs with damp cloth. Cut into serving size pieces. Place in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.Meanwhile, saute onion in butter or fat for 5 minutes. Pour over spareribs and continue baking for an hour longer, basting from time to time with sauce. Makes 5 servings.
