Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- tomato juice - 1 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chili pepper - 1/4 tsp
- lemons, sliced - 2 item
- pork spareribs boneless - 2 pkg
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Sauce:2 Tbsp. brown sugar1 Tbsp. paprika1 tsp. salt1 tsp. dry mustard1/4 tsp. chili pepper1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 c. vinegar1 c. tomato juice1/4 c. catsup1/2 c. water Place in baking pan (9 x 12-inch) the ribs with onion cut over them and with slices of lemons on top of the ribs. Bake in hot oven (450°) for 30 minutes.While ribs are baking, mix in a saucepan the ingredients for the sauce. Simmer 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Set aside until ribs are done. Pour sauce over ribs and continue cooking in moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Baste ribs with the sauce while cooking.
