Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- salt and pepper optional - 1 item
- ribs, cut in serving pieces - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Brown ribs on all sides. Brown onion in hot fat. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly for 15 minutes or until flavors are blended. Pour sauce over browned ribs. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until done. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
