Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- mustard - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- sliced onion - 3/4 c
- spareribs - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Brown spareribs with salt and pepper. Cook onion in fat until golden. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pour over spareribs. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350°. Yield: 6 servings.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
