Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1 2
  • pepper - 1/4 1/2
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • soft bread crumbs - 1 c
  • Worcestershire - 1 1
  • green pepper optional - 1/2 c
  • ground round or lean beef - 1 lb

How to make barbecued meatballs:

Pour milk over bread crumbs. Add meat, salt and pepper. Shape into 14 to 16 medium balls. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serve with rice. Double sauce ingredients when serving with pasta.

Microwave 13 to 17 minutes on High, covered with waxed paper. Turn balls halfway through cooking.
