Barbecued meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 3 lb
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- oatmeal - 1 c
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- garlic salt powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- catsup
- liquid smoke you can use Worcestershire - 1/2 Tbsp
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Sauce:2 c. catsup1/2 Tbsp. liquid smoke (you can use Worcestershire)1/2 tsp. garlic salt powder1/4 c. chopped onions To Make Meatballs: Combine all ingredients. Mixture will be soft. Shape into walnut size balls. Place meatballs in a single layer in freezer bags or on wax-lined cookie sheet. Freeze until ready to cook.To Make Sauce: Combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Place frozen meatballs in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Pour on the sauce. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Makes 80 meatballs or more. Double sauce recipe to make more juicy.
