Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 3 lb
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- liquid smoke or to taste - 1/2 tsp
- evaporated milk 12 oz - 1 c
- I shape into walnut size balls
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Make meatballs; combine all ingredients (mixture will be soft). I shape into walnut size balls. Place on waxed paper and freeze. Store in freezer until ready to use.Sauce:2 c. catsup1 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. liquid smoke or to taste1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/4 c. chopped onion To make sauce: Combine all ingredients; stir until sugar is dissolved. Place frozen meatballs in a 9 x 13-inch pan; pour on sauce. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Yields 80 meatballs.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
