Barbecued lima beans
Ingredients/Components
- slices bacon - 2 item
- medium-sized onion, sliced - 1 item
- clove garlic - 1/2 item
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- tomato juice - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- white sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- 2 can or 1 pkg
How to make barbecued lima beans:
Cut bacon in half. Fry until crisp and place to drain. Pour off fat until 2 tablespoons left. Add onion and garlic. Cook slowly until brown. Can use a little bit of garlic powder. Stir in flour until well blended. Add tomato juice slowly. Add muRecipe categories: Weeknight, Side dish, Beans.
