  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • salad oil - 3 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • franks - 12 item
  • drop of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • medium sized onion, chopped - 1 item

How to make barbecued frankfurters:

Lightly brown onion in salad oil. Add combined remaining ingredients, except franks. Simmer 15 minutes. Split franks. Place in shallow baking dish and pour over sauce. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
