Barbecued beef
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- bottle ketchup - 14 oz
- fresh lemon juice - 4 Tbsp
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- boneless chuck use this only - 2 2
How to make barbecued beef:
Brown sliced onion in the fat (in large stewing pot). Add meat and all ingredients. Cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove meat from pot and shred it with a knife and fork. Place back in sauce. Serve over hamburger buns or over noodRecipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Roast beef.
