Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1 c
- cloves garlic, crushed - 3 item
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger
- spareribs, cut between ribs - 6 8
- dry sherry or pineapple juice - 1/2 c
- 1/2-inches ginger, minced or crushed - 1 item
How to make barbecue spareribs:
Boil ribs with 1-inch piece of fresh ginger until cooked. Drain. Soak ribs for 1 hour in remaining ingredients. Remove from marinade. Place in single layer on broiler pan. Broil until browned.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Main dish, Oven.
