- packed light brown sugar - 1 c
- ketchup - 8 oz
- apple cider vinegar - 1 gal
- black pepper - 2 Tbsp
- crushed red pepper - 3 Tbsp
- small bottle Texas Pete - 1 item
How to make barbecue sauce for chicken on the grill:
Bring all ingredients to a boil and remove from the heat. As chicken approaches a well cooked state, baste them with sauce. When chickens are completely cooked, dip chickens into the sauce before serving. This recipe makes over a gallon of sauce.
