Barbecue sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1/4 lb
- vinegar - 1 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- mustard - 1 Tbsp
- ketchup - 4 c
- Miracle Whip - 2 c
- onions, diced - 2 item
- Tabasco sauce to taste - 1 item
How to make barbecue sauce:
Put butter in pan. Add minced onions until clear. Add ketchup, Miracle Whip, sugar, mustard, vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer until sauce begins to thicken, approximately 1 hour. Heat jars and fill while sauce is hot. Secure cap and let cool.
