- catsup - 3/4 c
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
- Boston butt - 1 (5
- hickory flavored barbecue sauce
How to make barbecue pork on buns:
Bring pork to boil in lightly salted water. Cover; reduce to simmer and cover 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove pork, discard water and cool. Remove bone and fat; discard. Coarsely chop lean meat and place in saucepan. Mix barbecue sauce, catsup and mustard; stir into meat. Heat thoroughly. May need to add water to keep meat from sticking. Makes approximately 18 sandwiches.Even more flavorful if simmered in slow cooker for several hours. Fresh picnic shoulder may be substituted for Boston butt.
