Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water - 2/3 c
  • oleo - 3/4 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • onions, chopped - 2 item
  • sticks celery, chopped - 4 item
  • small cans tomato paste - 2 item

How to make barbecue ham sandwiches:

Saute the onions and celery in the oleo until tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Put into a crock-pot or cook on low for several hours. Stir in about 2 pounds of finely chipped ham. Heat until meat is warm. Place on buns and serve.
