Barbecue chicken
Ingredients/Components
- breasts and wings, cut up - 3 lb
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 3
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
How to make barbecue chicken:
Place meat in oil with onions and celery. Cook slowly until light brown; drain off oil. While meat is browning, heat rest of ingredients, stirring and simmer for 10 minutes. Place in a 13 x 9-inch pan or dish. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours, uncovered. Baste every 20 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
