Barbecue beef brisket
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- garlic salt - 1 item
- catsup - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- beef brisket - 1 item
How to make barbecue beef brisket:
Rub into brisket nutmeg, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic salt. Wrap tightly in foil. Bake for 2 to 3 hours. Drain off stock. Cool meat, then slice across grain, very thin. Arrange meat in casserole dish. Mix and pour over sliced meat the catsup, vinegar, water, sauce, brown sugar and liquid smoke.
