Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • allspice - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
  • prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • ground beef - 1/2 lb
  • stalk celery, cut fine - 1 item

How to make barbecue beef:

Brown beef until crumbly, but not dry. Before beef is done, push to one side of pan and saute onion, green pepper and celery. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover pan tightly and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot over toasted buns. Serves 6 to 8.
