Banana walnut cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- flour, sifted
- light brown sugar
- 4 medium or 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
How to make banana walnut cake:
Frosting:2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese3 c. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla In large mixing bowl, cream butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift flour, powder, soda and salt. Mix bananas and milk. Blend dry ingredients into batter alternately with banana mixture. Stir in nuts. Turn into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then remove and frost with frosting.Frosting: Combine and beat until smooth.
