Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- light rum or milk - 2 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- flour all-purpose - 2 c
- baking powder
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- mashed or ripe bananas - 1 c
- chopped pecans
- powdered sugar optional - 1 item
How to make banana tea bread:
Combine butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, sour cream, rum and almond extract, mixing well. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
