Banana split pie



  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • sifted confectioners sugar
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • bananas - 2 item
  • chopped nuts pecans or walnuts - 1/4 c
  • baked 8-inch pie shell - 1 item
  • grated chocolate 1 sq - 1 oz

How to make banana split pie:

Cream butter; add sugar gradually, creaming well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating 3 minutes (medium speed). Mix in vanilla; slice bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice. Reserve 12 slices for garnish. Mold grated chocolate and bananas into sugar mixture. Turn into cooled baked pie shell. Garnish with nuts and bananas. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Best served the same day it is made. May top with Cool Whip.
