  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • powdered sugar
  • Cool Whip - 9 oz
  • bananas - 4 item
  • large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • pecans, chopped - 1 item

How to make banana split pie:

Melt 1 stick margarine and add graham cracker crumbs. Work until they are damp. Press in bottom of container. Beat egg. Add soft stick of margarine and sugar. Spread this over crumb mixture. Top this with bananas and pineapple. Then spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with fine, chopped pecans. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight before serving.
