Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- sifted powdered sugar - 2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- Cool Whip, thawed - 1 (9
- softened margarine - 3/4 c
- sliced - 4 medium
- jar cherries, drained - 1 oz
How to make banana split dessert:
Combine melted margarine and cracker crumbs. Pat in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Beat eggs on high speed of electric mixer until light, about 4 minutes. Add powdered sugar, softened butter and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes. Spread over crumbs. Chill 30 minutes. Spread drained pineapple over creamed mixture. Arrange bananas over pineapple. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover; refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with cherries.Recipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Cakes.
