  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
  • sifted powdered sugar - 2 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • Cool Whip, thawed - 1 (9
  • softened margarine - 3/4 c
  • sliced - 4 medium
  • jar cherries, drained - 1 oz

How to make banana split dessert:

Combine melted margarine and cracker crumbs. Pat in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Beat eggs on high speed of electric mixer until light, about 4 minutes. Add powdered sugar, softened butter and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes. Spread over crumbs. Chill 30 minutes. Spread drained pineapple over creamed mixture. Arrange bananas over pineapple. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover; refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with cherries.
