  • margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • sifted powdered sugar - 2 c
  • margarine soft - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple, well drained - 1 oz
  • bananas, sliced - 4 item
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c

How to make banana split cake:

Combine melted 1/2 cup margarine and graham cracker crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Beat eggs at high speed about 4 minutes. Add powdered sugar, 3/4 cup soft margarine and vanilla; beat 5 minutes. Spread over crumbs. Chill 30 minutes.

Spread pineapple over creamed mixture, arrange bananas over pineapple. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
