Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- margarine soft - 6 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- or 4 bananas, sliced - 3 item
- 2 can well drained pineapple
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- chopped maraschino cherries - 1 item
- nuts - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
1st Layer: Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup melted margarine and sugar and press firmly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.2nd Layer: Cream together powdered sugar and margarine; add eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy and spread over crust.
3rd Layer: Slice bananas over filling.
4th Layer: Spread pineapple over bananas.
5th Layer: Spread Cool Whip over pineapple.
6th Layer: Garnish with cherries and chopped pecans.
Chill for 1 hour before serving. Keep in refrigerator.
