  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • margarine soft - 6 Tbsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • or 4 bananas, sliced - 3 item
  • 2 can well drained pineapple
  • large container Cool Whip - 1 item
  • chopped maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • nuts - 1 item

How to make banana split cake:

1st Layer: Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup melted margarine and sugar and press firmly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2nd Layer: Cream together powdered sugar and margarine; add eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy and spread over crust.

3rd Layer: Slice bananas over filling.

4th Layer: Spread pineapple over bananas.

5th Layer: Spread Cool Whip over pineapple.

6th Layer: Garnish with cherries and chopped pecans.

Chill for 1 hour before serving. Keep in refrigerator.
