  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • vanilla flavoring - 2 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • maraschino cherries - 1 item
  • sticks butter - 3 item
  • bananas - 5 item
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • tub Cool Whip - 16 oz

How to make banana split cake:

Melt 1 stick butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs. Put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Mix with mixer at least 15 minutes, the other 2 sticks of butter, the eggs, the sugar and the vanilla flavoring. Pour this mixture over the crumb crust. Slice the bananas and place on top. Put the pineapple on top of the bananas. Drain first and use the juice to brush on the bananas and pineapple to keep them from turning brown. Put Cool Whip on top of fruit. Sprinkle this with nuts and add cherries.
