Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- jar maraschino cherries - 1 item
- cans crushed pineapple - 1 2
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- to 5 bananas - 4 item
- tub Cool Whip - 1 lg
- Pecans - 1 item
- sticks soft margarine - 2 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine. Press into 9 x 13 cake pan. Chill. Whip powdered sugar, eggs and soft margarine, 15 minutes. Spread over chilled graham cracker layer. Drain pineapple, save juice to coat bananas, optional. Spread pineapple over sugar mixture. Slice bananas into juice, keeps the bananas from turning brown. Layer bananas over pineapple, remove the juice first. Spread Cool Whip over bananas. Dot with cherries. Dot with nuts. Chill Well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
