Banana punch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- water - 5 c
- fresh lemon juice - 1 c
- fresh orange juice - 1 c
- ginger ale - 2 qt
- can pineapple juice - 1 oz
- bananas, mashed - 5 item
How to make banana punch:
*When serving, mix in small amounts so that it will stay slushy.Bring water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool completely. Stir together sugar mixture, orange juice, lemon juice, pineapple juice and bananas. Freeze 8 hours. Remove from freezer and let stand at room temperature 2 hours. Pour into a punch bowl and add ginger ale. Makes 1 gallon.
