Banana pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- vanilla wafers - 1 item
- Pet milk - 1 c
- or 4 bananas - 3 item
- to 1/2 stick oleo - 1/4 item
- water or skim milk - 1 c
How to make banana pudding:
Mix sugar and flour together real good. Add milk. Beat egg yolks and add to mixture. Cook until thick; add oleo and vanilla. Add to wafers and bananas. I use about 1/2 box wafers and 3 or 4 bananas.Beat egg whites until stiff. Add about 4 to 5 tablespoons of sugar and beat again. Put on top and brown. I put about 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar in egg whites.
