  • c milk - 1 item
  • tbsp melted butter - 2 item
  • egg beaten - 1 item
  • tsp vanilla extract - 1 item
  • c honey - 1/2 item
  • tbsp baking powder - 1 item
  • c all purpose flour - 1/4 item
  • dash cinnamon - 1 item
  • c chunky peanut butter - 1/3 item
  • c rolled oats - 1/2 item
  • tbsp firmly packed brown sugar - 2 item
  • c sifted all purpose flour - 2 item
  • small very ripe mashed bananas - 2 item
  • tbsp corn oil - 4 item
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, and baking powder

How to make banana peanut butter muffins:

Heat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, and baking powder. In a small bowl, mash the bananas, then blend them with the milk and egg. Combine the peanut butter, corn oil, vanilla extract, and honey in a medium bowl. Stir in the banana mixture. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the flour mixture, mixing just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Fill greased muffin tins.

Make topping and sprinkle the mixture evenly over the batter.

Bake 20 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown. Makes a baker's dozen.
