Banana oatmeal muffins
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- rolled oats - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- medium bananas, chopped - 2 item
How to make banana oatmeal muffins:
Cream together butter and brown sugar. Mix in egg and buttermilk. Mix together oats, flour, baking powder, salt and allspice. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas. Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffin pan, filling almost full. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
