Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- buttermilk - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pecans - 1 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- ripe bananas, mashed - 3 item
- Icing:1 mashed banana
How to make banana nut cake:
Icing:1 mashed banana1/4 c. butter, softened pecans1 box powdered sugar Mix together in small bowl the buttermilk and the baking soda; put aside. Mix remaining ingredients together. Add buttermilk and soda mixture. Mix together well.Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° about 30 to 45 minutes.
For icing, mix together all ingredients. After cake cools, pour on icing.
