Banana nut cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 3 Tbsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour - 3 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda
• buttermilk - 8 10
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• nuts - 1 c
• bananas, mashed - 3 item
• Icing:1 stick margarine

How to make banana nut cake:

Icing:1 stick margarine1 c. brown sugar3 Tbsp. milk1 c. coconut1 c. nuts Mix ingredients in order given. Add soda to buttermilk. Bake in loaf pan at 350° for 1 hour. For holidays, add 1 cup mixed candied fruit.

Icing: Boil coconut for 1 minute. Mix all icing ingredients together; spread on cake while filling is hot.
