Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- tsp salt - 1/2 item
- tsp vanilla - 1 item
- cup butter or margarine - 1/2 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- tsp baking soda - 1 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- 8 oz pkg cream cheese - 1 item
- cup pecans, chopped - 1 item
- cups powdered sugar - 4 item
- Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla
- 1/2 cups mashed, ripe bananas - 1 item
How to make banana nut cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 15 x 10 loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool completely and frost.Frosting1/2 cup butter or margarine1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese4 cups powdered sugar2 tsp vanilla3/4 cup pecans, chopped With electric mixer, beat all ingredients except pecans until light and fluffy.
