Ingredients/Components
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- butter pecan instant pudding small - 1 pkg
- oil - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- bananas ripe - 3 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- margarine
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- vanilla
- hot water - 2 4
How to make banana nut cake:
Glaze:1/3 c. margarine2 c. powdered sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla2 to 4 Tbsp. hot water Cake: Mash bananas with fork until creamy. Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend; mix at medium for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured Bundt cake pan. Bake at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Be sure cake is done or it will be too moist. Turn out on plate to finish cooling. Glaze while cake is slightly warm.Glaze: Heat margarine in saucepan until melted. Add vanilla and powdered sugar. Stir in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until glaze is desired consistency (leave thick if pouring over warm cake).
