Banana-nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/4 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- mashed, ripe bananas - 1 c
How to make banana-nut bread:
Cream the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in bananas and mix well. Stir in nuts. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Healthy.
