- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- well ripened bananas - 3 item
How to make banana nut bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Line a loaf pan with aluminum foil. Cream shortening and sugar; add mashed bananas and beaten eggs, 1 at a time, then add vanilla, dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into the foil-lined pan and bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
